SERGING TECHNIQUES
This is a hands on class that uses our in store Husqvarna sergers. This course will teach you how to thread and set your machine to achieve proper tension using not only regular threads but also rayons, metallics, and Woolly Nylon, as well as a variety of fabrics including fleece, spandex and cotton.
You will learn to navigate corners and to do such specialty techniques as flat lock, rolled hems, cover stitch, gathers, and beading. You will even create sculptured ruffles using sheer fabrics and fishing wire!
This is an information packed course for both the novice and experienced sewer.
This is a four week course, two hours per week. Cost $65.00 There is a kit required for this course containing the basic materials. The kit price is $10.00

Making T-shirts is a simlpe matter. In this introductory stretch sewing course, you will use a Husqvarna Viking serger to create your own versatile T-shirt. You can refine the fit, alter necklines and shaping to flatter your figure, use beautiful fabrics, and add fine details.
This is a 3 week course, two hours per week. Cost $48.00

This unique serging technique lets you create beautiful quilts or accessories on the serger. Each circle is finished as you work, a "Quilt-As-You-Go" technique done on the serger with the edges finished and no binding required. The back is also a beautiful quilt in its self making it completely reversible.
This is a great project to practice navigating curved edges on your serger.
