This adorable sweater and hat kit is knit in Mission Falls 1824 100% cotton. The yarn is an aran weight cotton which knits up fast, especially for children's garments. This is a quality cotton with an outer wrap of fine cotton, which reduces stretching, and helps to ensure that the garment will keep its shape. This cotton is machine wash and dry.

The kit is designed for children to 6, 12 and 24 months. There is enough yarn included for the largest size. The kit also contains the pattern.

The kit has a finished chest size and length as follows:
6 Months: Chest 19 inches (48 cm). Length 10½ inches (26½ cm)
12 Months: Chest 22 inches (56 cm). Length 11½ inches (29 cm)
24 Months: Chest 26 inches (66 cm). Length 13½ inches (34 cm)

You will also need one pair of 4 mm (US6) needles and one pair of 4.5 mm (US7) needles for the sweater. For the hat you will need one circular needle 4 mm by 40 cm (US6 by 16 inches) and one set of 4 mm (US6) double pointed needles. You will need three buttons for the sweater shoulder opening. These are not included in the kit.
