Dancing Daisy Panel

Intermediate level. Also a very good refresher course for those who have not done a lot of Free Motion Machine Embroidery lately as the large areas of petals and leaves give a good workout in becoming comfortable with free motion machine embroidery without the stress of detailed work in tiny areas.

The Panel will be approximately 24" wide by 48" high. Panel can be finished as a wall hanging or used as the centre of a quilt, etc.

Week 1: Making the pattern,marking the fabric, and beginning the free motion embroidery in the large areas.
Week 2: More detailed Free Motion Embroidery, the smaller areas.
Week 3: Finishing the instruction about the details of the embroidery and addressing the various requirements and challenges of the students.
Week 4: Finishing the edges and lines of the design using the satin stitch or taper stitch.
Week 5: Quilting the image. Discussing the various approaches to the quilting and the use of the panel. Answering questions and helping with the finish of the panel.

This is a 5 week course, 2 hours per week. Cost $80.00 plus a kit price of $30.00.
