Beginner Machine Quilting

During this class the student will learn 12 different techniques of machine quilting: outline, stitch-in-the-ditch, channel, cross hatching, machine guided curves and points, free motion curves and points, continuous line, meandering, stipple, echo, Trapunto, and tying. Also, the student will learn how to join these quilted blocks together in a unique way that allows you to quilt the whole quilt, block by block instead of wrestling with the whole quilt under the sewing machine. And finally the student will learn how to attach a hanging sleeve and label onto the back of the quilt and finish the edge with a binding. All of this is accomplished easily with the sewing machine.

This is a eight week course, 2 hours per week. Cost $125.00
